IMM Delhi is AICTE-sanctioned and recognized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, and has a history of 55 years in education and with industry tie-ups. IMM Delhi provides an innovative course, PGDM, with nine joint majors. The contemporary directions of artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, Python, R programming, and Metaverse 2.0 complement the curriculum.


The Institute of Marketing and Management (IMM), established in 1969, has been a cornerstone in advancing marketing and management education in India. Founded by the visionary Dr. Jagjit Singh, IMM has dedicated over five decades to cultivating global intellectual capital.

  • Founding Vision:

    Dr. Jagjit Singh, a distinguished marketing and management expert, was a Fulbright scholar with a PhD from the University of Nebraska, USA. His academic journey included positions at institutions such as the University of Rhode Island, Marquette University, and the University of Alabama. In India, he contributed significantly at the University of Bombay and the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai. Dr. Singh's legacy is marked by his extensive research, publications, and consultancy work with organizations like UNIDO, FAO, USAID, and the Government of India.

    Vision and Mission of IMM Delhi:

    IMM Delhi aims to serve as a center of excellence in management education, research, and training.     Dr. Jagjit Singh's leadership extended beyond IMM Delhi. He held prestigious positions such as Founder Chairman of the Association of Indian Management Schools (Delhi Chapter), Chairman of the Expert Group Meeting on Marketing Strategy for UNIDO in Vienna, and Vice President of the Asia Pacific International Marketing Federation. His passion for writing led to several publications on management, advertising, and business statistics.
