DIT University, established in 1998 by the Unison group, operates under the jurisdiction of the Government of Uttarakhand through Act No.10. It is a private institution with affiliations to ASSOCHAM India, FICCI, and CII. The degrees offered by DIT University are recognized by the UGC, New Delhi, and the Nepal Engineering Council. Additionally, DIT University is a member of the Association of Indian Universities. The B.Pharm Program is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, and the BArch Program is approved by the Council of Architecture.
