TISSNET 2021 Application Process

The TISS NET 2021 Notification was released by TISS on 11th November 2021. And the application process has been started from 03 Dec 2020 and will go till 15, 2021 in online mode and till January 20, 2021, by post. The candidate can apply in both modes. TISSNET 2021 Exam has been scheduled to happen on 20th Feb 2021.TISSNET is a national entrance exam conducted by TISS every year for the admission process of the MA Programme. Candidates can apply for a maximum of 3 programs. Candidates who are applying for MA (HRM&LR) and/or MA (ODCL) need to appear for TISSMAT also after qualifying TISSNET and before the online personal interview. And for the rest, other Programme candidates need to appear for TISSPAT 2021 after qualifying TISSNET 2021and before Online Personal Interview.TISSNET 2021 will be conducted in the English language only. There will be 100 questions for which 100 minutes will be given to candidates.

TISSNET 2021 – Apply Online

Candidates can apply online from the official website of TISS through the E-application process https://appln.tiss.edu/register/. Candidates can apply for a maximum of three programs across any two of the TISS Campuses. If you wish to apply for more than one program you need to pay TISS NET 2021 application fees accordingly.TISSNET 2021 Application Fees can be paid online through debit card or credit card or net banking and through cash deposit from SBI Challan. It is advised to all students to read TISSNET 2021 Eligibility Criteria before applying for TISSNET Application Form.

TISS NET 2021 – Offline Form Process

Candidates applying through the remote place where internet facilities are not available can apply offline by taking a print copy of the TISSNET Application form directly from the TISS. For those candidates, it is required to send a request for printed application by speed post additionally with their application fees to Assistant Registrar (Academic), Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Deonar Mumbai, 400088. Candidates who are filling form via offline mode need to send all the necessary documents attested by the school principal or aa principal of the college or Gazetted Officer. No request for an application form will be considered without presenting all the necessary documents.

Important Instruction for TISSNET 2021 Application Form

1. Candidates can apply for three programs maximum across any of the two campuses of TISS. It is advised to all candidates carefully read and choose the program because once the application 2. form will be submitted no changes will be made to it.

2. Unemployed candidates, whose parent’s / guardian’s annual income from all the sources for the Financial Year 2019-20 is less than Rs.2.5 Lakhs for SC/ST and Rs.1 lakh for OBC(NC) are required to pay Rs.250/- as Concessional Application Fee for each program. So for that candidates need to upload the necessary certificates.

3. Candidates have to upload/attach relevant certificates strictly in the format. The Institute also takes steps to have the Caste/Tribe/Non-creamy layer/ Income certificates verified by the competent authorities before PI and post-admission and those found to have submitted manipulated certificates at any stage of their study, will be asked to leave the program.

4. Candidate can fill the application form once only for all the programs. If the authority found that the candidate has applied through multiple application forms, all applicants will be canceled.

OBC(Non Creamy Layer) (Annual income more than Rs.1 lakh but less than Rs. 8 lakhs)	Photograph, Signature, TISS copy of challan (if paid by cash), Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate issued after 01-04-2020 by the District Magistrate / Deputy Commissioner / Tahsildar. CERTIFICATES dated before April 1, 2020 will not be considered valid.
PWD	Photograph, Signature, TISS copy of challan (if paid by cash) and PWD certificate.
KM	Photograph, Signature, TISS copy of challan (if paid by cash) and KM certificate.
Armed Forces	Photograph, Signature, TISS copy of challan (if paid by cash) and Armed Force certificate

Important Note -

1. Candidates applying through the online application form will have to upload the certificates mentioned above. Those who are submitting a hard copy of the application form should post along with the application form the above-mentioned documents attested by a School.

2. Headmaster or a Principal of College or a Gazetted Officer (refer to Reservation Section on the admission website). Requests received without the above Certificates will be rejected and no communication will be sent in this regard.
