Jadavpur University boasts a comprehensive library system, including the Central Library, Salt Lake Campus Library, 36 departmental libraries, and additional libraries associated with schools and study centers. The Central Library, housed in a spacious three-story building, offers a total of 36,000 sq.ft. of shelf and working space, with an additional 5,500 sq.ft. in the annex building. With seven reading rooms and seating for 700 readers, it houses over 6,46,296 volumes of books, 80,700 bound volumes of journals, 13,000 theses and dissertations, and 37,000 non-book materials. Additionally, the library subscribes to around 633 print and 2,794 online journals, with access to an additional 9,082 online journals. Moreover, it provides access to 30 databases, including Scopus and Econlit, and approximately 10,057 e-books.

Accommodation facilities include boys and girls hostels with a total of 1,254 and 622 beds respectively, both located on campus. The university also offers various sports facilities such as badminton, basketball, cricket, football, tennis, and more, to promote sports spirit and physical fitness among students. The university houses well-equipped labs for various disciplines, including civil engineering, chemistry, computer science, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering, among others. Other amenities include a cafeteria, gym, hospital and medical facilities, Wi-Fi campus, shuttle service, auditorium, air-conditioned classrooms, convenience store, and additional facilities like a guest house, day care center, open-air theater, amenities center, bank, and post office.
