Updates - KMAT Karnataka 2020 result has been declared for the IBT mode test which was happened on October 29, 2020, in online mode. The exam was conducted in the afternoon session from 2 pm to 4 pm. Candidates can check the result at the official website of KMAT 2020.
Karnataka Management Aptitude Test is also known as KMAT. Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) is a state-level entrance exam for MBA, PGDM, and MCA. KMAT is conducted by the Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) since 2003.
KMAT Karnataka will be conducted offline (pen and paper mode) on November 28, 2020, to provide an opportunity to those candidates who were not able to participate in KMAT 2020 Exam in IBT mode.
Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) is a state-level entrance test conducted by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA). KMAT is accepted by more than 189 + AICTE-approved University-affiliated B-schools in Bangalore and the rest of the places in Karnataka. KMAT is the exam that will be held in more than 10 cities all across the country and is open to candidates from all parts of India and Abroad.
This exam is organized for admission into MBA, PGDM, and MCA programs.
About KPPGCA & KMAT
Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) is one of the associations of Karnataka Private PG Colleges to screen a student for postgraduate professional courses, like, MBA, PGDM & MCA to private institutions in Karnataka. There are 189 + member B Schools of KPPGCA located across Karnataka. It was established in 2003 with the clear motive of supporting Institutions in imparting professional education in India.
KMAT is the Karnataka Management Aptitude Test which came into existence being a common single test conducted for admission in Karnataka for admission process of professional Courses such as MBA, PGDM, and MCA. KMAT is conducted for admission to AICTE approved PGDM Program, University-affiliated Program MBA and MCA in Self-financing colleges of Karnataka.
KMAT is conducted by KPPGCA once a year in July.
Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) is being conducted since 2003 to facilitate Post Graduate Institutions to filter candidates for taking admission into MBA, PGDM ad MCA courses. Any Post Graduate Institution within Karnataka can consider KMAT Score for providing admission to the students
KMAT Scores are sent to the management institutions as well so that they can get suitable candidates for their professional programs.
It is important to understand that the KMAT score is the only first step of the admission process and amongst different other factors used to screen applications and conduct the admission process. A high KMAT score alone is not enough to guarantee admission to an MBA, PGDM, or MCA program. Likewise, a low score does not mean that you cannot qualify. Interpretation and the use of the scores are purely based on individual colleges and their admission procedures.
It is advised to candidates to check the KMAT Exam eligibility and institution participating eligibility criteria separately because both are different. Before applying for KMAT Exam make sure you are eligible to take admission in your choice of program in your chosen college or university in Karnataka.KPPGCA does not follow any domicile barrier for the candidates who willing for KMAT Registration Now the candidates from across the country will be considered for admission to MBA/MCA 2020 in more than 189+ B-schools located in Bangalore and the rest of Karnataka state.
KMAT can be given by any of the state candidates without any domicile barrier. It is an entrance exam conducted on an India level basis .from now onwards the candidates from across the country will be considered for admission to MBA, PGDM /MCA 2020 in more than 189+ B-schools located in Karnataka.
KMAT 2020 Test will have a time duration of 2 hours. It will be a paper-pencil based test. KPPGCA will conduct the exam in a single session to maintain the transparency and difficulty level same for all the exam takers.
