MAT 2020 EXAM

Management Aptitude Test is popularly known as MAT. MAT is one of the most popular and management entrance exams among candidates who are planning to take admission in B-Schools. MAT is an objective type test designed and created to evaluate the aptitude of the candidates to undergo Post Graduate Program in Management. Management test is being conducted by AIMA i.e All India Management Association .Since 1988 AIMA conducts MAT to help B-school in India in selection process for admission into their management program.
More than 600 B-Schools accepts the score card of MAT Exam for their admission process.
Every year, AIMA conducts Management Aptitude Test four times in a year February , May , September and December . MAT conducts in two modes -
- Online i.e. Computer Based Test
- Offline i.e. Pen Paper Based Test
But due to prevailing situations in the country, AIMA has made new arrangements of Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT).In this Test mode; candidates can take the test from the convenience from their home.
The proctoring (invigilation and supervision) will be done remotely from the control room. Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT) allows proctors to monitor candidates and assist in conducting time bound tests/exams with ease and without compromising the integrity of the assessment.
Requirements for taking IBT are:-
- Computer system (laptop or desktop) with working web cam and mic.
- Operating System Windows V-7 or above, and
- Internet connection with minimum bandwidth of 512 kbps.
The process includes installing software that keeps track of the candidate’s test activity using his/her computer screen, utilizing the webcam to watch and record every detail, and harnessing the power of AI to analyze the student’s actions during the test/exam.
MAT 2020 September: Test Conducting Option
Candidate can now take MAT 2020 September Exam in following different modes:-
- Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (MAT IBT): Can be given from home.
- Double Remote Proctored Internet Based Tests (MAT IBTs): Can be given from Home on different dates and different slots.
- Paper Based Test (PBT): Dates are announced but the exam depends upon Covid-19 situation.
There is no change in MAT Exam previous pattern but more number of MAT Internet Based Test is being conducted.
