CMAT or Common Management Admission Test 2020 is an online computer based test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is a national-level admission test for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programs approved by AICTE. CMAT was first introduced in the year 2012 with idea of giving a singular platform for all the major management schools across the country, many premier top B-schools accepts CMAT score as their eligibility criteria. CMAT 2020 has just started their application process on November 1st 2019 and the last date for applying for the exam is 30th November 2019. Around 65,000 candidates are likely to apply for CMAT 2020. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria of CMAT will be able to apply for the same.

CMAT 2020- Eligibility Criteria

Before filling the CMAT application form, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria which are prescribed by NTA. The eligibility criteria of CMAT 2020 comprise the academic qualifications which the candidates must meet, age criteria and nationality.

  • Academic Qualifications - Candidates who are in the final year of their graduation or have completed their graduation from any recognized college/University and Institution which is recognized by AICTE, UGC or any government education board can apply for CMAT 2020
  • Age Criteria - As per CMAT 2020 eligibility criteria, there is no age limit for those candidates who can appear in the entrance exam.
  • Nationality - Only citizens of India can appear for CMAT 2020

CMAT-Exam Pattern

CMAT 2020 test paper has time duration of 3 hours. There are 100 objective type questions in MCQs form in CMAT question paper. CMAT exam is divided in 4 sections with 25 questions in each section; each correct answer is awarded +4 Mark. Each wrong answer is penalized with negative marking of -1 mark. CMAT exam sections are Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

 No Individual Time limit to attempt CMAT 2020 question paper. Candidates can attempt any question from any section within the overall time limit of 3 hours. Merit Score in CMAT exam is calculated on the basis of all the 4 sections. CMAT score card displays Actual score obtained out of 400 Marks, Sectional score obtained and the sectional and overall percentile obtained in the CMAT Exam.
