Alliance College of Engineering and Design, Bangalore, a constituent college of Alliance University Bangalore, was established in 2010. The college holds approval from The Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). It offers undergraduate and doctoral programs in engineering. The flagship program is a 4-year B.Tech course with nine specializations. Additionally, the college provides BCA, MCA, and M.Tech degrees. Lateral entry admission is also available for the B.Tech program.

In 2019, Alliance College of Engineering and Design, Bangalore, was ranked 186 out of 200 colleges in India by NIRF. It secured the 14th position in Bangalore and the 22nd position in Karnataka.
However, in 2022, The Times Of India ranked Alliance College of Engineering and Design much higher, positioning it at 13 out of 200 colleges in India. In Bangalore, it secured the 3rd position and was also ranked 3rd in Karnataka.
